For three generations, the three-star Camping Alegera has offered 162 marked-out, shaded pitches for tents, motorhomes, campervans and caravans, as well as 19 mobile homes for 4–5 people with views of the mountains and surrounding countryside, for an affordable holiday in the Basque Country.

Ideally situated halfway between the village of Espelette, just 1.5 km away, and Souraïde, 10 minutes from the thermal baths at Cambo-les-Bains and 8 km from the Venta de Dancharia in Spain, Camping Alegera welcomes you to a lush green setting covering over 3 hectares, where peace and relaxation remain our priority.

We received a very warm welcome and were able to choose our own pitch; they are shaded and spacious. The swimming pool has a paddling pool for the little ones.

We received a very warm welcome; the owner took the time to drive us round the campsite in a golf cart so we could choose our pitch. The pitch was clearly marked out and shaded.

A quiet, family-friendly campsite. The toilet blocks, mini golf course and swimming pool are clean. There could do with a few more bins in the washing-up area (as people tend to leave their rubbish lying around).
